MUSCAT: The Small and Medium Enterprises Committee at Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) discussed proposals to develop the services of the 'Estidamah' platform during a meeting held on Wednesday at the Chamber’s headquarters in Muscat. The meeting was chaired by Shaikh Ahmed bin Amer al Muselhi, Chairman of the Committee.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed the progress of the 'Estidamah' platform and the ongoing efforts to attract specialised offers and benefits for entrepreneurs utilising the platform. Discussions also focused on simplifying and accelerating project registration procedures, as well as establishing timeframes to attract the largest possible number of projects during the initial launch phase. Furthermore, the meeting addressed a proposal to expand the scope of the platform to include a wider range of users, while emphasising the importance of maintaining the platform’s primary objective: supporting and empowering Omani entrepreneurs who manage their own projects. - ONA
